Much has happened since A Framework for Understanding Poverty, the original "red book," was published in 1995. Scholars and practitioners alike have built on the ideas that were in that first edition, and the work has expanded beyond K-12 schools to communities, businesses, higher education institutions, foundations, churches, healthcare providers, and more.
